It doesn’t offer swivel functionality or a composite input, which means it can’t accept content from other sources besides a DVD or CD. Regardless, the unit offers versatile format compatibility, including JPEG photos, MP3 audio, and MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 videos. Also included are stereo speakers, a headphone port, and parental controls. Generally, the Coby TFDVD7009 is best used for entertaining children. It’s lightweight, portable, and easy to use, but it’s also heavy, known to produce poor video/audio, and it’s plagued by a short battery life.
